This program equips you with the knowledge and skills required to pass the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) exams for Recreational, Private, and Commercial Pilot Licences. You’ll develop critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving abilities through a blend of aviation theory and practical flying, all on-campus in Bendigo, Australia—just a 2-hour drive from Melbourne CBD.

Entry requirements

To qualify for RMIT commercial pilot training program, the following requirements must be met:

  1. Must meet the RMIT University English and Academic Entry Requirements,
  2. Must meet the CASA medical standards to obtain a Class 1 Medical,
  3. Must be eligible for a student visa in Australia (RMIT University in Bangkok will support your application process),
  4. Must have financial ability to pay for the Diploma of Flying (Pilot Cadetship).
